London, this wonderful city sees tourists from all corners of the earth and is a great place to check out. But while it is a fun and diverse city that offers a lot to do/see, from checking out the tourists places (like Big Ben and Tower Bridge) to eating at the incredible restaurants it offers, it can get quite expensive quite quickly.
Here are 5 things you can check out while visiting London that come without a cost associated to them.
Sky Garden

This garden is located in the financial district and offers some great views of the city and it is free to enter. Getting a ticket is a must, so the second you start planning on visiting London go to the main website, https://skygarden.london/, to pick up your free ticket.
There is a chance to walk-in, though it is not a guarantee you'll get access if you try this route.
Museums

From Tate Modern to National Gallery to British Museum, there are several museums scattered throughout the city that you can visit, and all of them free.
And depending on the time of year you are there they sometimes offer special events, such as a murder mystery at the National Gallery.
Parks

With what seems like a park on every corner, there are endless greenery spots to check out. From Green Park, to Hyde Park, and even Regent's Park they offer beautiful walks, nice places to chill on sunny days, and even sometimes offer free events/activities hosted by different groups.
South Bank

One of the best ways to see London is just walking around. And one of the best walks is on the South Bank. From Tower Bridge to Westminster Bridge you can just walk, take in the views of the city, and catch some iconic buildings including St. Petes Church, London Eye, Big Ben, and Millennium Bridge.
Markets

From Borough Market to Camden Market, several neighborhoods in London offer some neat markets where you can just venture around and take in the atmosphere, grab a quick bite to eat, or do some shopping.
